The Inspiration
Lorelai's passion for quilting sparked the first time that she used a long-arm quilting machine. That's why, as her first collection, this line is inspired by free-motion long-arming motifs that Lorelai uses in her quilting! The dress pictured on the right was made by Lorelai with the Quilting in Bloom Fabrics, and you can even see the quilting designs in her fabrics quilting into the dress.
Quilting Inspired Prints
The fabrics include free-motion quilting designs such as feathers (pictured left) and swirls (pictured right). As previously mentioned, quilting is what began Lorelai's career in textiles, and it is her favorite part of the sewing process.
Beautiful Floral Designs
Each quilting design is surrounded by bold, intricate florals that lend themselves to modern and classic projects alike. In fact, Lorelai's favorite part of this collection is its versatility. She has used it to make both traditional quilts, and bold couture fashion.
Let your details shine
Speaking of versatility, Lorelai made sure to include several low volume prints for detail work. She finds that these fabrics are wonderful for small, intricate designs, as well as surrounding the bold floral prints and allowing them to stand out!
